This ice guide is in the freezer door located in the dispenser section. This part helps the ice be guided from the dispenser to your cup once activated. If the ice maker will not dispense ice, or the locking tabs are broken on the guide, you may need to replace the ice guide. The ice guide is made of clear plastic and is a genuine OEM part. Please remember to disconnect the power and water supply before starting your repair.

The ice chute door opens to dispense ice once activated. This part mounts in the ice dispenser. If it is too warm inside your refrigerator, there is frost build up, or your icemaker will not make or dispense ice, you may need to replace the ice chute door. The crank no longer comes with this part, but you can use the original crank. The crank is sold separately depending on the model number of your appliance. The ice chute door is a genuine OEM part. Please remember to disconnect the power to the refrigerator before starting your repair.

To do this, you will need a putty knife and a Phillips screwdriver. If your dispenser door will not close properly, or ice is not dispensing properly, you may have a damaged door recess crank. This part is made of white plastic and is sold individually.
