Charcoal Filter

This is the replacement charcoal filter for your microwave. It is silver and black in color and measures approximately 10 inches by 2 ½ inches. The charcoal filter removes cooking odors from the air that circulates through the microwave vent. You will likely need to replace the charcoal filter if you notice any damage to it, or if it has been in your microwave for a long time. This part is sold individually and is an authentic OEM part sourced directly from the manufacturer.

This is a genuine replacement 40 watt bulb for a microwave. The bulb is meant to light up the underside of the microwave or inside of your microwave when the door is open or during use. If your bulb is not illuminating, you may need to replace it. If the bulb is shattered, be sure to use protective gloves during replacement. Always unplug your microwave before completing any repairs. We suggest ordering a spare, as this is a common wear part.

Grease Filter

The grease filter can be found on the bottom of the microwave. If your grease filter is damaged, it will not effectively capture grease that builds up when your microwave is in use. To replace the grease filter, simply grasp the filter ring and push it to the back of the microwave, then lift out the filter. To preserve the life of your grease filter, you should occasionally remove them and gently wash them in a warm water and detergent solution. Most microwaves will have two grease filters, but this part is sold individually. The grease filter is approximately 8.5 inches by 5 inches.

The line fuse, also known as a ceramic fuse, is used to protect your microwave when there is a power serge by shutting down the microwave to avoid damage. If your microwave has no heat, won’t turn on, or the touch pad is not working properly, you may need to replace the fuse. This part measures approximately 1.25” long and is sold individually. EXHAUST ADAPTER

This is the replacement damper bracket for your microwave. It is made of plastic and is approximately 11 inches wide and 3 inches long. The damper bracket attaches to the outer cabinet and directs airflow through the vent duct. The main reason you would replace the damper bracket is if it is damaged and will not hold the damper in place properly. Secondary Door Switch

The secondary door switch, also known as a micro switch, works in conjunction with your microwave by monitoring the door latch position and sending communication to the electronic control board to let it know if the latch is open or closed. When the door is shut, the door switch will close to send power to the microwave to operate. If the microwave won’t start, the switch has failed, and the part will need to be replaced. You can test the switch for continuity. This part measures 1.5” L x .75” W. Due to the high voltage capacitor in the microwave, it can retain a lethal electrical charge, even when unplugged, it is suggested to have a service technician install the part. Please disconnect power to the microwave before beginning the repair. This is a genuine OEM part.
